In a project site in the remote Himalayas where superstitions and religious beliefs are as important as the engineering Nanda, Khusru and Rekha come together through a series of twists and turns in their lives. Men and Dreams in the Dhauladhar is a novel inspired by the numerous years the author spent working on a Hydroelectric project in the Himalayas.

My Take: 

Men and Dreams in the Dhauladhar is the debut novel written by Kochery C Shibu and in one sentence it is an amazing book to read that will make you experience the journey of lives of the characters.

The book has a smooth story flow which keeps you interested in reading till the end. 

The book is written with different characters' perspectives which make the book unique and interesting to read the different backstories and feelings.

The author Kochery C Shibu has written and portrayed each and every character in a different and unique way that you will definitely e love to read. While reading I was amazed at the way the author has written the chapter with different characters' perspectives yet had the same story flow, which I think is very creative and clever. 

The story starts with Nanda traveling to Dhauladhar and the author Kochery C Shibu has described everything in minor detail which made it easy to imagine. The book is filled with work-life experiences, twists and turns, love, friendship, dreams, emotional rides, and an epic story which is written in an easy to read and in a very interesting manner.
